What is Blogrush? If you look in my side bar you will see a Blogrush widget. A closer examination will reveal article titles. So Blogrush is a system designed to advertise your articles to the rest of the Blogrush community. What makes this different is the way they have designed their points allocation.
There are a lot of sites that offer pay per impression or click exchange type programs. You click on two links and you receive one click back to your site. You can spend all day on these types of programs and get nowhere. Blogrush differs in two ways. First, you don’t have to do any clicking. You receive points from the number of impressions (or visitors) you receive. Ho hum – no different to any other impression program you say. You are right to a certain extent. For every impression from your widget you earn points that go towards receiving one of your posts listed on someone else’s widget. However there is one huge difference. Blogrush allocate extra points to those sites that don’t get huge amounts of traffic.
The idea here is that sites that do get high traffic volume don’t require much assistance. Those sites with low traffic volumes do need extra help – and that is what this program is all about. What I really like are the graphical statistics that show you how much traffic is coming through each day and which articles are most viewed.
When I first joined Blogrush it was a bit of a nothing program. Having stayed with it and watched it not only grow but also go through a major upgrade I am now starting to see increased traffic from it.
