There are big changes coming to My Radical Blogs and the Radical Blog Reviews. From January 1 next year (2008) I will changing the format of the Radical Blog Reviews. I will be undertaking reviews on a weekly basis and publishing the results over the weekend. The blog nominated as blog of the week will have a banner placed near the top of the right side bar. The banner will stay there for the full week before being replaced by the next weekly winners banner.
I am also offering a button on that you can place on your website that links directly to your blogs review. All sites that incorporate the button will be in the running for the monthly Site of the Month Award. The blog that is selected will have their banner placed at the top of the right side bar for the next month.
You can see these buttons and the new look review here at Lara’s Random Thoughts review. I will also be modifying the Review Catalog to make it easier to navigate. This will take a little time to put into effect.
If you have had your blog reviewed in the past by the Radical Blogger and would like a button to link to the review just let me know and I will fast track one. I will slowly update all past reviews with the new review look.
The feedback I have received has been fantastic and I know from some of the comments that have been left that visitors are reading the reviews and visiting a lot of the sites. The idea of the Radical Blog Reviews is to do just that, introduce my visitors to blogs they may not have seen before and to encourage them to visit them.
The next round of reviews will be published this weekend – I still have a couple of places left for this round of reviews so if you would like your blog reviewed by the Radical Blogger then please leave a comment here. The use of the button is purely voluntary – there is no obligation to incorporate it on your site.
If you want more traffic then ask for a review.
As a side issue, if anyone knows how to move the side bars on this theme closer to the left and right margins I would really appreciate the help. footnote – I did it and feeling pretty good about it – got my hands dirty in the CSS and found about 20 places where I had to change the code – but it works and I am happy – and just quietly, pretty pleased with myself.
