I hope I haven’t confused anyone today as I test out a few themes. I have really liked my green theme but it had one major problem – it was too slow, not only that, it loaded the sidebars first and the content last. If you have a theme that loads quickly, then it is not a problem. For a slow theme, big problem.
This week I am going to use a different theme each day until I find one that I really like – one that also says me. And you can help.
If you are in my neighborhood at any time please do comment on the theme in use on that day. I really need feedback on how fast it loads, how easy on the eye the color scheme is and whether or not it is attractive. I also need feedback on how it looks in Internet Explorer or any other browser (I use Firefox). I am also trying to find some thing that says ‘radical blogger’ – not boring old f*** – okay I may be – but that is not the point.
At the end of the week I will collate all the feedback together with my own and decide which one I will go with. Everyone who leaves feedback will get a return visit and I will subscribe to your feed. This is not a contest. There are no prizes. I just need some help.

I stopped by to put in my two cents on your theme for today. I’m not real big on this one. The bright green is very distracting, pulls the eye away from the post too much. I do like the banner pic though, and the background is kinda cool.
Hi! I have Internet explorer 7 on 5yr old computer Windows XP. Your site takes about 5 secs to load. Sidebar on left fully loads before right sidebar. Center page element now showing up straight away unlike before. For me Title blends too much into header image. Blogcatalog widget, unlike the other page elements is off screen slightly and the green background dominates too much. Otherwise site is excellent, totally professional and pleasant to the eye.

I’ve been reading your blog for sometime now, and while I wasn’t real crazy about the dark blue… the green is too harsh.
The banner is interesting, but not sure it really captures the essence of “radical blog”. What it kind of looks like is you’d like be radical, rather than an boring old f**t… but this template doesn’t get you into the deep water.
I’m kinda thinking snowboarding, something x-games like… juxtaposed with a silhouette of a radical political leader… now that would get your attention.
This is good, keep one thing in mine though if you find a theme that works but you don’t like the header, just replace it like I did.
This template loads faster than the one you had yesterday, but it still loads too slow IMHO.
