Look and Feel:

Very arty two column narrow theme. Very colorful header.

Content:

If you are into art then you will not be disappointed. There are plenty of art photos with well written accompanying text. The art is quite superb.

Ease of Use:

RSS and email subscriptions are below the fold but easy to identify. Page is very long but loads surprisingly quickly. Sidebar is also very long and, whilst not cluttered, is very full.

Suggestions:

Subscription services are generally better placed near the top of the sidebar although these are easily identified. The logos, icons and other graphics are mixed with some areas centered and others not. I would center all of them for a cleaner look. I would think seriously about some of the widgets in the sidebar. You have three country of origin visitor widgets, one very long. Whilst they look pretty some times they make the sidebar look too busy. Your latest 25 visitors did not recognize my visit.

Conclusion:

This is a neat site full of wonderful images. If you are into art then you really should add this blog to regular list to visit – rating 9/10

    Thanks for the review! I appreciate it. I have put my subscription and rss feeds back by the top – great idea … I should have done that.

    I know you are probably right about centering the logos etc, but I have tried them that way and I don’t like the way they look … I have spent a lot of time tweaking them all to make my insides happy (I am an artist … it has to look like makes me feel good) … so thank you – if I want, someday I may tweak that again .. but last week I retried and thought it distracted and fought with the posts.

    I am sure you are right about the widgets .. I have non-blogging friends who I am hoping to get blogging (some have) and they love the widgets the best .. so for now they stay. But I will keep this in the back of my mind.
