Look and Feel:
Two column blogspot blog with a wonderful header graphic. The sidebar is short and very neat.
Content:
A mix of photos, graphics and written content that, while on the personal side, was quite interesting. It is funny how us humans always like to spy on our neighbors, or at the very least, see what they have been up to - then again, it might just be me thats nosy.
Ease of Use:
No demons on this site. No RSS or email subscription either - then again, the content may not suit subscription services.
Suggestions:
The biggest issue with a blog like this is always going to be time. Not time to read, but time to load. There are some things you can do to speed up a blog that is full of photos. For some platforms, such as WordPress, you can get plugins that enable you to use a thumbnail image in the post that enlarges with a mouse over.
The other area that is slowing down the load speed is the page length. This is extremely long - and so is very slow. You could do one of two things, limit the number of posts on the front page or use a command such as MORE that trims a post to a desired length and adds a read more link. The biggest issue with this blog is simply speed.
Conclusion:
I am a nosy old so and so - so I always like reading these type of blog posts. There are some nice photos and some interesting stories, particularly the historical type that are quite interesting and entertaining - If you don’t mind a short wait then this blog is worth a visit. - rating 8.5/10

Thanks for the Great review, Les! I’ve thought about changing my setting to a shorter number of posts per page, just hadn’t gotten around to it. When I was posting only one picture per post it wasn’t so bad. Did you happen to check out my other two blogs?

Les, I attempted to add the above button to my blog but it wouldn’t work. The graphic came up with the box with the “x” and the link was broken also.
