Look and Feel:
Narrow two column blog blog with interesting color combinations. Content panel was fairly quick to load but the side bar was very slow. Nice header image.
Content:
Quite a mish mash but amusing none the least. Content is lessened a bit by the longish adsense ads.
Ease of Use:
Slow to load side bar which is very full – easy to navigate and find what you need. RSS subscription just below the fold – email subscription further down. Usual array of social network buttons below each post.
Suggestions:
You could look at text link ads from google placed at the base of each post – looks a lot tidier. The side bar needs a lot of work. You really need to think about each of the widgets and banner ads. Each banner that is loaded from an external site further slows the loading of the page. If the banner or widget is not really needed then consider removing it.
The icons and some of the banners really need to be centered. Some are centered already, however that just highlights the ones that are not.
The page itself is not overly long, however if you can trim the page length back to match the length of the side bar, particularly if you can trim the side bar back as well, you will notice a considerable improvement in speed times.
Conclusion:
An amusing blog. I fear some will leave before it has fully loaded because of the slow load. Opinions are always worth a read and perhaps a comment or two to get an argument going. rating 8/10
