1000 Blogs Against Slaughter Of Whales Now At 96

By Les Scammell, April 11, 2008 12:39 pm

My 1000 Blogs Against Whaling campaign has now hit 96 with the latest addition of bloggers to nominate their blogs. If you have more than one blog, feel free to nominate all of them – the more the better. If I have missed someone, have mis-spelled a name or simply got the site name wrong – leave a message on this post and I will update it.

If you would like to join the campaign, feel free to leave your details on this blog post. The comments section of the campaign page is around the 100 mark so it is getting fairly long.

The Japanese whaling may be drawing to a close but that is no reason to stop this campaign. They will back next year and each and every year they seem to increase the numbers and species.

The anti whaling movement should be congratulated on their efforts this year. The Japanese fleet are going home with a disappointing catch this year.

The latest blogs to join the protest are:

Many of these sites have the Entre Card widget so why not pay them a visit and collect some EC credits while you are at it.

My thanks to these blogs and all the others that have joined.

    2. Its amazing what happens when people get together for positive change. We custodians of this planet at this point ought to be taking care to prevent any extinction that we can. While I understand peoples of the world need food and space to live we should always consider what we are doing, in the end once something is gone no matter how majestical it was it is still gone. I congratulate the anti whaling campaign for having a good impact this year maybe my grandkids will get to see these beautiful animals someday.
