Obama And McCain Go Camping
With the election nearing its completion, this is quite appropriate. Worth a smile too.
Barak Obama and John McCain decide to go camping together - kind of clear their heads before the final weeks of the Presidential election campaign.
On their first night, McCain wakes up, looks around and up at the night sky and ponderis all he sees.
He gives Obama a shake, “Hey Barak, wake up. Wake up”.
Obama wakes up with a, “hey John, what’s up? Why wake me?”
“well Barak, I was laying here looking up at the sky and pondering things. I was wondering, when you look up at the night sky, what comes to mind?”
Obama looks up at the sky and ponders a moment and replies, “well John, the astronomer in me looks at all those stars and wonders, are we really alone in the universe? The astrologer in me notices that Mars is in Aquarius - I am going to have a resounding victory. The meteorologist in me sees there are no clouds, the evening is warm, we are going to have another hot day. John, what comes to mind when you look at the stars?”
McCain looks at Obama with a little disdain. “my first thoughts are heaven help our country! My second thought, who has stolen our tent!”
