There are times when you start blogging and, for a variety of reasons, you lose your original purpose behind the blog. I have gone through that big time with this blog. It started in one direction, took a right turn in another direction, then came to a complete stop.
The most difficult part is then either focusing back on your original purpose, or finding a new one. That is where I am at right now, finding a purpose behind my blogging. My other blog, Just4Families has a purpose by nature of its name. One thing I am looking for is a template that says me. Once I find that I might find a focus for my thoughts.
In the mean time, why do you blog – what’s your purpose?

Well Les, withthe site name you have here you can go in almost any dirrection you want with this blog. One thing I do to keep up with a topic that I start posting on is to create a google alert for it. This way I am always reminded of what I should be working on. Doing that also helps me keep up on my commenting on topics I want to drive drive to my blog for. Google alerts also help you become the first to comment as well. I got really bad for a while not commenting, alot of reading but not commenting. I also change my display name depending on what I am commenting on for example if I have a google alert for build a niche store and one comes in. I will go to the site that has made a post about it and leave a comment with my name like this “Collin – Build a Niche Store” that way is the blog is do-follow I get a link back to my site and that blogs readers know if they want more information on that topic the chaces are I could be a good place to visit.
With Chrsitmas coming around the corner I am feeling like I have lost my roots a bit in blogging. I got so busy coming home from TAC that I feel I need to get back to normal some how.
