Fire’s are always the worst type of disasters because they can’t be prepared for like earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes. With the increase in global warming fire outbreaks will definitely not get any better.

Fires really can be serious business. We had some pretty bad ones in California not too long ago, although the death toll was much lower. This is very sad, I feel for all the families.

In Portugal people start forrest fires and I have heard is said it is the only way to get rid of the eucalyptus trees that are grown for paper. eucalyptus is the scourge of Portugal but in Australia it is ofcourse natural. In anycase we are having a cold winter here in europe so it surprising to here of fires and an inferno.

That is so bad.. Hopefully those family that were affected will be given help with the NGO disaster relief..
