This is a noble cause…and I will gladly add my blog to the list. I can get more than 2 readers…and help out with the Whales all at once. everyone wins =)
I am happy to support you on this. Why any nation is okay with the slaughter of an endangered species, I’ll never know.
If nothing else, as more species become endangered and extinct, we are endangering our own species. Hopefully others will want to take part in this cause for more than this reason alone.
I am also happy to support you on this. I will write about it on my blog and hopefully send yo a few more sign-ups.

I’ve long opposed the slaughter of our marine mammals, especially those in which it is simply not sustainable and there is no good reason for the culling to be taking place. Japan’s excuse for “scientific research” is pure BS ..
But I digress … I have my own soapbox on my blog lol
Thanks for doing this!
Awesome cause, I would love to help out, add my name to the list, I’m from Saskatchewan, Canada.
I would like to Help ,please add my name/you can use my full name/ and all my blogs!
Thanks and Regards!
The processing of this mother whale and her baby is atrocious and inhumane. Most of the world’s nations have already condemned whaling and yet a few nations are hell bent on driving them to extinction. Of course, absolutely, you can add my blog to the blogroll.
Are we supposed to say “yes, add me to the blogroll?” lol .. I thought that by commenting and including our blog url in our name that we were automatically included?
Anyway, I’ve mentioned this on my blog .. hopefully you get a lot of well deserved responses and attention
Thanks for all the responses.
##Dolphin: I try to update the list a couple times each day. thanks for your input and participation.
My bad then
Thank you for the clarification .. I thought I had missed a step somewhere.
Thanks!
All the best,
Dolphin
We stand by you on this important cause. A blog petition like this is a great idea.

Count me in!!! The whaling activity should be banned forever!
I actually sent out many messages to bloggers in Blog Catalog & Entrecard to come up with a write-up or sign a petition by Green Peace on the cruelty of Japan’s whale hunt, not knowing you have such a campaign going on. That was till Will from A Healthy Planet tipped me. Great job!
And I did 2 posts on this topic - one in Nov 07 and another yesterday, in protest of Japan’s whale hunt.
Great to know that there are people who care for the plight of the whales. Best.
Add me to the mix Les. Against the senseless slaughter of our marine animals to say the least, especially those fighting against extinction.

Hello, I would like to join. Very nice campaign.
The Japanese Government should cease and desist. If not, we should begin harpooning them and see how they like that.
Please add my blog to your list.
Cheers,
Snoskred
Thanks for making me aware. I’m in.
Hey! Tomorrow it will be legal to burn foreign flags in my country. Maybe I can burn a japanese? Though I would have to burn my own then but I don’t think that is legal.
Les - count me in. Whaling is barbaric.
I’ll gladly join - count me in.
Please add me to your list. I find hunting under the name of research especially obnoxious. I will be posting a blog post on Endangered Spaces blog about your cause.
Thanks for caring.
WE RE WITH YOU!! IT S TIME FOR THIS TO STOP,ONCE AND FOR ALL.
An excellent cause… no reason not to sign up!!
Read my blog for info on the ongoing whale hunt…
Please sign me up, I’m all for progress, but in this day and age this just isn’t right.

Yessir, free publicity and saving the whales. I do believe it’s a win-win situation.
Count my blog as one of the 1000!! I’ve gotten to watch whales multiple times in the waters surrounding Alaska on the other side of planet from Japan’s latest slaughter.
Amazing animals, it is a shame to think some may not return north.
I am with you all the way. Amazing that anyone is still hunting these magnificent and endangered creatures.
The arrogance of man knows no bounds.
More voices!
Yes, I am with you too. I hope the Oz government takes legal action against Japan :\
Whales are magnificent creatures. It would be shame, if we didn’t do anything to stop them from extinction. If you need scientific data about them, tag them with radio buoys, photograph them, etc. instead of killing them.
HomeBiz Resource’s in! How can we help?! We must put an end to these slaughters! GRRR…!!
I want to get in too. I’m really pissed off by this action
This is just sad. And it really pisses me off.

It is much more powerful to give life than to take it. The Japanese Whalers think they are powerful because they can chase and kill whales with their harpoon ships when in reality they are weaklings preying on helpless harmless whales.
Add us to the list, this is a disgusting practice that is hard to believe still happens in the world.
Count me in - I’ve been angry for decades.
You can count on me too. Lots of people here in Spain are against whaling. Let’s stop whaling forever!
Definitely a worthy cause. It was barbaric in the past and yet here we are in the 21st Century attempting to put a stop to it.
Hopefully each of us, in our own little way can help put a stop to this once and for all.
I saw this picture somewhere too.. a mother and her baby. It’s really sad to know killings are happening every second in the world. No wonder the world is full of hatred.
May all beings live in peace and happiness.
Intelligent giants of seas, with a lineage 10 times that of humans. It’s no longer a matter of educating people of the plight of other creatures and peoples’ ultimate dependence on them for their own future. It’s about people taking responsibility for:
1) their (in-)actions,
2) irrational consumption that cost the Earth
3) ignorance about the plight of future generations
4) a future for wiser humans on Earth.
Yes, please add me to the list too. Killing of any kind is gratuitous. There’s no need for this sort of thing and hopefully it will soon be filed under “Idiotic Crap Humans Used to Do.”
I’m with you guys! Stop killing whales!

Thanks, Les, for standing up and working to make a difference.
Your efforts are appreciated very much. Please count me in on the 1000 Blog Protest Against The Slaughter Of Whales campaign.
I’m from the United States.
I am truly sickened by the arrogance of whale slaughterers.
Research? Who do they think they’re fooling ..
For food? Is there a huge profit to be made in selling fried whale and chips?
For pleasure? For those who enjoy watching the death throes of another creature? More fun than pulling wings off flies.
We must stop this appalling killing
I have been against hunting whales for many years, ever since back in the 1960’s I saw a documentary where a beautifully singing whale was in the process of being harpooned. Huge hunks of flesh and some guts blasted out after each harpoon contact, as if the kind beast were being dynamited, yet the song continued. It was utterly heartbreaking.

This is a travesty. Add my blog to the list. the more voices that can bring light to this situation , the better chance we have of stopping this abomination some day.
The audacity of these people is beyond reason. I read that they have tons of meat rotting and there are no good reason for the continued killing. The international Society should make internatinal laws prohibitng the killing of marine mammals. I wish those little simple minded freaks would realize how connected the entire mammalian life forms are. Continue killing the marine mammals and Humans are not far from extinction either.
Please Post this
Please add meonneon.com to the list. And thank you for starting this list, it means a lot!!

I wholeheartedly support your protest - we need to impress upon these governments and the IWC! In my opinion, countries who continue to whale despite the moratorium are further endangering a precious species and killing the cherished world heritage that other nations of the world have been trying very hard to save for the past 20 years. I have issued a number of letters to President George Bush and the Embassy of Japan in Washington DC stating this illegal whaling must end now. I continue to send the same letters to them just about every other day. I understand the IWC met behind closed doors in London last week to negotiate the lifting of the whale ban for Japan to whale in its territorial waters. I have read that Iceland is planning on resuming its whaling in May. I also have read that Norway is going to continue its whaling too. It is apparent the IWC is considering a lift on banning whaling, because if it does it for one country then others will require it too. In my opinion, these countries are supposedly rich countries and have other food sources to eat, and therefore don’t need to kill an endangered species. In addition, the killing is inhumane.

This is indeed a noble cause and one that we should all be only to willing to join. It’s a disgrace to see those majectic mammals treated so savagely.
I will create a link from my site to this one.
I already have one blog up, but I’d like to add this blog as well.
Keep pushing to get to your goal of 1,000.
Hi,
I used to eat fish, but every time with some remorse. Now I’ve stopped eating any fish, unless I’ m forced to at some abominable parties.
I know a whale is not a fish, but a mammal like us. And that picture of your whale really distressed me.
Hope people will grow in sensitivity towards their fellow creatures.
Keep up the campaign.
All the best for your cause.
Regards & Love,
Rajan.
Please add my pet blog to the blogroll. My degree is in Marine Biology and this just makes me ill. It is the main reason I will not buy Japanese products if at all possible. There is no way I’m going to support a country that sanctions things like this. I will also be adding a post on my blog directing people here, hopefully it will help.
