Brilliant header - I wish I could get something a little livelier for my blogs. The header really does suit the name.
The page is well laid out although I have to say the black on red hurt my old eyes after a while. I am not sure what color would work, white would probably stand out too much and is already used in other areas - perhaps an off-white or cream could work.
The content, although not exactly related to the title, is quite informative being a mix of a personal blog and a blogvertisement. Never the less it is quite entertaining and well written.
A site to visit for a quite read and a little info.
